the name of his company suggests, Nicholas Deane has never built
a new building. Beginning in the mid-seventies with the cast-iron
McLauthlin Elevator Building in the North End, Deane Redevelopment
focuses on redevelopment of historic and distressed buildings,
particularly on distressed environmental sites.
