Diego Barberena graduated this summer (2003) from the Master in Design Studies concentrating in Housing and Real Estate Development at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

In 1995 he received his B. Arch from the Universidad Iberoamericana, in Mexico City. In 1997 he received a Master (MSAAD) in Architecture from Columbia University, NY.

He has worked as an Architect for Peter Eisenman in New York City, KMD Mexico, TEN Arquitectos in Mexico City, and Machado and Silvetti in Boston. His work experience ranges from Multifamily Housing and Office Buildings to Retail and Convention Centers, some of which were developed in close collaboration with investors and developers such as GE Capital and Jones Lang LaSalle.

He currently lives in New York City
