Master of Urban Planning
Jill graduated in 2003 form the Master in Urban Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, dually concentrating on Land Use Planning and Real Estate Development. In 2001 she received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
As an undergraduate, Jill worked at many stages of the planning process-from a grassroots neighborhood parks group, to serving as a research assistant for the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. She acted as the UC Berkeley student representative to several city and university boards, including the Mayor's Advisory Committee, and was active in evaluating and framing campus planning. Most recently, Jill served as a data and research consultant for Neighborhood Reinvestment, a HUD-chartered group. There she was solely responsible for analysis of a nationwide, $500,000 community organizing pilot program, from creation of a monthly reporting evaluation method to a statistical analysis of potential trends.
